The Oaks at Bentwater

This apartment complex is absolutely awful. We had countless issues WHILE we lived there that never got addressed, but the real issue was after we moved out. Originally after hurricane Harvey, they wanted us to continue to pay rent and pay all our bills even though we had no home to go back to. The roof had caved in, and there was water and mold all over our apartment floors and walls. Obviously not livable, so they agreed to end our lease a month early. (It was supposed to end in October)... anyways, we were told multiple times that we'd get our deposits back, and nope. We were just contacted and told that we would NOT be receiving our deposits back, AND we somehow had nearly a $100 water bill charge we owe them. $100 water bill?! Absolutely not. We moved out at the end of August, any water used after that is NOT our responsibility. Bottom line is, the management they have there WILL try and screw you out of your money. Being a long time resident, Oaks at Bentwater used to be a great place. New management is terrible doesn't resolve issues, parking is terrible should have assigned parking. Paying way to much in rent with nowhere to park. Only a matter of time before it's run in the ground and they just let anyone move in.

The Oaks at Bentwater are gorgeous apartments, equipped with everything you need for comfortable living! The floor plans are designed so beautifully, that you will feel like the square feet is double what it actually is! The staff is friendly, and professional. They will ensure anything that needs to be fixed is done in a timely manner! All the neighbors are happy and friendly as well! The oaks at bentwater are fantastic!

Great floor plan options. Close to local trails, shore, golf & shops or quick access to Corpus Christi activities.

The office staff is rude and runs the office like a personal social club. The office hours vary and you never know when you can catch the manager on the property? Overall, a nice place but a change in management is needed.
