Above and Beyond
It was New Year’s weekend of 2026. I had been ill for quite some time. On the first, my sister who had just been with me the day before. (Which I do not recall) was trying to reach me as where my children. I wasn’t answering texts or phone calls, which is not like me. So my sister called and got the emergency number and called it. They got through to one of the maintenance gentleman. (Joe) and he quickly came over to the apartment building. He came in my door and found me in the middle of my... living room floor. I was unresponsive and so he called 911. Quickly an ambulance showed up and realized that it was dire. Because of Joe’s work ethic and caring about the residence. My life was saved. I want to thank Joe for his efforts in saving my life. The hospital had told me that when I came in I was 30 minutes away from death. The Maintenance here is exceptional and I am so grateful for not only this instance but other things that they have done to make my life easier. Thanks again, Sherry
