Disappointing

My first complaint is that the amenities rarely work as advertised. I am charged about $200 a month for access to a variety of amenities. For that much extra money, I would expect that they would function as advertised. However, about half of the time we go up to use the hot tub, it is either cold, or closed without explanation. Also, the coworking space was a big deal to me as a full-time remote worker, but the fireplace in the front office space is kept on all day and it heats the office... spaces up to about 85 degrees. I have made three complaints to management and the space is still basically unusable. The trash chute is often clogged or the doors to the chute are locked. This leads to residents leaving piles of trash all over the designated trash rooms.

The elevators have also been difficult to work with. I don't think all three of them have ever worked at the same time. More than once, none of them were operational. There is a constant flow of emails from the complex apologizing that they are out of service and promising to get them fixed soon. It's been over a year and the issue remains.

My biggest complaint, however, is the safety of the complex. I was promised a secure parking garage, a safe place to call home, and a theft-proof bike storage room. The parking garage gates have never worked as promised. I've never seen all of them working properly all at once and they are often stuck open. This has led to abundant theft in the garage - motorcycles hotwired, cars broken into, and destruction of property. The locks to the hallways are often broken or doors are left ajar. There have been multiple incidents of trespassing and non-residents wandering the halls late at night, knocking on doors, and asking for a place to stay. The bike room has been equally disappointing. I've had 3 bikes stolen from the supposedly "secure" storage space. I keep putting my trust in management, and it keeps getting broken -over and over. I am moving out next month and am disappointed that this place isn't all they promised it would be.

Do not move here for the amenities

We moved here in July and were told the amenities, like the pool, clubhouse, and bike repair should be open on August 1st. From what we can tell, there has been little to no progress on them over the last two months. We feel misled because the amenities were one of the reasons we chose the complex. However, we are now unclear if they will even be finished in 2023 at all. That said, the staff are very friendly otherwise.
