Extremely High Turnover in the Front Office
Lived here for 2 years and I loved the location, it was close to downtown, crossroads mall, the lake to lake trail and Microsoft. The 2 bedrooms were also spacious compared to other apartments in the area. Maintenance was usually handled by Jose in a timely matter. Complex was typically quiet without a lot of hoopla.
The CONs include the office turnover, I had a constant noise issue from my upstairs neighbor and no one in the office ever stood around long enough to handle it. I'm talking about... every week there was a new temp or person filling in for at least 1 1/2 year, it was super annoying. I had to take measures into my own hands several times because the help from the office was non-existent. Resigning a lease or adding a roommate on was always a painful 2 month process to get paperwork done. The apartment really lacks amenities that other complexes have in the area for that price range and the pool was almost never open (maybe 1-2 months the entire 2 years). They raise rent every year by $100-200 (I saw 2 rent raises) and eventually it was not worth living there for the lack of service. Not to mention the front office was never open past 6p on weekdays and closed early on Saturdays. If the complex addressed these issues I would have given it 5 stars because it really was a nice apartment, the service was just bad.
