Horrible.
I had an incredibly frustrating experience at The Mill at Auburn. From the very first day of move-in, my apartment was in terrible condition—filthy, with trash, bugs, and damages everywhere. Despite raising these concerns immediately, the cleaning crew provided by the management did a poor job, and I had to hire additional cleaners to get the place livable.
Communication with the management was consistently unreliable. I was given conflicting information regarding the return of my security... deposit. Initially told that I could receive my deposit back after a walk-through, I later found out this wasn’t true. After moving out, I was hit with unexpected charges for cleaning and damages, despite the apartment being in poor condition when I moved in.
To make matters worse, my deposit was mistakenly sent to my former roommate’s address and made payable to Tuskegee University, not to me. Even after several communications, the issues have not been resolved, and I still haven’t received my deposit back. The entire experience has been deeply frustrating, and I would not recommend this complex to anyone!!
