If you don’t want your deposit back do live here.
I always paid my rent 2 weeks ahead, paid my water and electric bills as soon as I got them. I kept everything clean, scrubbed the apartment from top to bottom before I moved out. There was no patching needed to be done to the walls or painting. I hardly ever lived there because of my job and when I got engaged I moved completely out. I continued to pay my rent and all utilities on time for an empty apartment. I got $39 of my $300 deposit back. When I did the walk through with the maintenance... guy he told me that the apartment was move in ready but the office manager would still charge me for everything so I probably wouldn’t get all my deposit. They also charged me for unpaid utilities when I have receipts of the paid utilities. So word of advice if you move in don’t worry about maintaining the apartment because you will still be charged. This is the first place I’ve ever rented that I didn’t get my deposit back.
