New Owners - Poor Management

This building was bought a little over a year ago by an out of state entity with no local presence and residents have had trouble getting basic services met since then. It took at least 2 months of requests from multiple residents for them to conduct pest control, as provided in the lease, and it's going on six months without reliable garbage services. The walls are thin; neighbors can hear each other fairly easily depending on respective locations within apartments. Winter high winds literally... billowed curtains this year; summertime is a nightmare of high electric bills even with a thermostat set to 78-80 degrees. No vent above stove. Front door has cracks in it.

The bones of the apartments are really cool; the building has a neat, historic vibe. It's just a shame that it's been neglected. I would not recommend moving in here until the trash situation is resolved, at the very least.
