I'll try to keep it short. New management is awful and does not care about it's residents, answer calls, or follow through with repair requests. Never got my sink fixed. Overall management has practices that have made me question it's legality. apartments (have been to my neighbor's) are in a poor condition and does not compete with other Flagstaff apartments despite them pricing it so.

I lived here for two years while attending NAU. Overall, Aspen Leaf was a pretty good place. If you want convenience and don't mind paying more to live in a relatively older complex, I recommend Aspen Leaf.
Pros:
-Nearby campus and downtown
-Quiet community
-Good maintenance response time
-Spacious bedrooms
-Nearly soundproof walls
-Grounds are well-kept and add to the community atmosphere
-Ample number of parking spaces
-Friendly management that effectively communicates... expectations
Cons:
-Dilapidated cabinets and countertops (they're getting replaced soon, I heard)
-Like most Flagstaff apartments, it's expensive relative to quality of amenities provided
-The fitness center is a treadmill, elliptical and a multipurpose machine in a tiny room
-Strangely enough, my bedroom door could not be locked from the outside (no outside keyhole)
-Laundry Center frequently has several out-of-order machines

Limited space for the price and some commonly included amenities, like water and trash, are not included with the rent here. However, plenty of features such as the spa and gym, and excellent maintenance of the grounds make this a nice place to live.
