Roaches.

ROACHES. I have lived here with my 19 month old daughter since January of this year. We have had an issue with cockroaches consistently since May, and not just a couple here and there. A whole colony behind the fridge, which I have removed myself, a colony in the dishwasher, and now they have started to appear in the bedroom, which is carpeted. They love the sticky residue of the “floorboards”, and the sticker covering on the “updated” kitchen cabinets. I have put a ticket in for maintenance 5... times and have spoken to property management directly 2 times. Nothing significant has been done. They have sent a bug sprayer, but clearly the issue is not resolved. I have a small child and I feel that this is an unsanitary environment to be raising her in. My own OCD is constantly triggered each day. I’m also not the first person in my building to have these issues, according to my neighbors who just moved out.

Management is TERRIBLE

My experience with management has been ATROCIOUS. Spent 3 days calling, leaving emails and voicemails to management about my car that could not be moved from my own parking lot as I was away.
Did not want to leave car outside the estate as it could be easily be stolen, but management was adamant 'there's nothing we can do about'. Their customer service, response rate and flexibility is ABSOLUTE RUBBISH.

Will definitely not renew my lease next year and advise potential renters to LOOK...
ELSEWHERE. Dealing with a non-existent management is too much trouble in the long run.

Questionable Move-Out Policy

My experience living here was ok; the rooms are a decent size and have a great layout, almost worth what is being charged (only problems were little things like no hot water for the first week and mushrooms growing into my bedroom from the puddle of stagnant water that was situated just outside my unit after frequent rain). The maintenance staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and the surrounding area is pleasant to be around.

However, my experience with management has been ehhhh.... Like...
all rentals, be sure to monitor any management changes as the tenants (that's you) will likely be the last thing the two parties doing business care about. When I moved in under previous management, a policy was in place to waive the security deposit based on credit score; after qualifying for this, new management still charged me approx. $200 during move-out for cleaning and refurbishing (in essence, a "move-out fee"). I'm sure that they're legally obligated to do this and that my lease was altered when management changed, but my point is just to be aware of questionable policy changes (not that there's really anything you can do about it I guess).

Second, and in my opinion most absurd, is that the property requires a move out notice from you 60 days prior to the date of move-out. I understand the reasoning for this; rooms must be cleaned and there must be ample time for the friendly maintenance staff to do their job, but for your reference I have an acquaintance who's rental property requires only a 30-day notice (just something to think about). The truly disappointing part of this required 60-day notice is that I wasn't informed of it until 40 days prior to my existing move out date (when I approached them about what needs to be done to move out). Do the math, and this means I will be paying rent for an apartment I will not be living in for approximately 20 days after my lease expires. Adding in the $200 or so for the move-out fee, and Bridge Property Management has found a way to charge me close to $1000 just to escape their property.

But hey, they put in a new putting green so maybe it'll be worth it to you (it runs about a 7 on the stimp and I promise you won't get a single true roll, so probably not)

WARNING

WATCH OUT!!! New Management as turned this into a slum! Bridge Conglomerate bought it and watch out!
Rent is unreasonably high for these poorly built units. The building shakes when the neighbors shut the doors, bad plumbing poor water pressure, a rigged utility and water billing system no matter how much water you use. They cut lawn fertilizer so the grass areas are full of weeds and unhealthy. The security walk around services have been cut (per Blue Steel Security) there are rats and no...
commercial traps anywhere, they fired all the good maintenance people. The property manager lies to your face and they have faked reviews like “Brian McDonald’s”. If you notice it says on that one it says written a couple of weeks ago but the owners response is 11 months old? (Not the only one) The units are thin walled, you can hear people sneeze and cough as well as other things! Look at the north side where the Taco Bell and pizza place robbers ran and hid in a stairwell here. Homeless people sleep and urinate in the walkways on the north side of the complex, they will not fence it off or even post it, but paid thousands to change unnecessary light fixtures to save on bulbs, they will not replace broken weight straps or properly clean the workout area, they removed the cold water from the workout room. they only weed in the front areas, trash is piled up and smells all the time. Don’t be fooled

Stay Away

Here are 7 Reasons to STAY AWAY FROM LORE!

1. You Hear EVERYTHING: Nosy neighbor paradise. The walls are paper thin, meaning you will hear closed door conversations (and your neighbors will hear you, too).

2. Fire Station Across the Street: Fire Department is right up the street. Every time they deploy their engine (day or night), you’re going to hear it.

3. Car Damage: If you love your car, beware. The designated parking spots are unnecessarily narrow. The sides of my car are covered in...
dings and scratches from my parking neighbors.

4. Ungated: The rent is astronomical for an apartment with no gates. People regularly cut through the development as a shortcut (maybe to get to the bar next door?).

5. Dumpster Divers: It’s normal to see divers in and around the dumpsters (especially at night). It can be scary going out to take the trash out (especially when you’re not expecting someone to be going through the garbage).

6. Stolen Packages: The old management used to accept packages at the front office. New management does not! After two of my Amazon packages were left (and stolen!) from my front door, I decided to give Amazon a call. According to them, when the carriers attempted to leave packages at the front desk (as instructed), management would turn them away! I went to the front office to ask why they weren’t accepting them. Their answer: we just don’t accept them. Even though there is an Amazon Hub on the property, if the front office does not give them a hub code, the carriers can’t use it. What’s the point of investing in a Hub if you don’t give the carriers the tools to use it? Now I have to send Amazon packages to a designated Amazon locker (off the apartment property). It's extremely inconvenient, but it's the only way to keep my purchases safe from neighborhood thieves. Smh…

7. Noisy Kids in the Afternoon: It sounds like a theme park every time I come home from a long day of work. Every afternoon, the apartment kids gather outside my apartment door and play football. Management does not care/has done nothing!

It wasn't always like this. The change in management really sunk this place. Please, if you love your sanity, don't come here. Just don't. You've been warned.
