Garden Plaza Apartments

The buildings are falling apart, work orders are never fixed, appliances are outdated (and in some cases a fire hazard), pretty sure the cabinets are showing signs of termites, carpets are installed incorrectly my vacuum has pulled them up constantly, “dog park” is a gravel pit with random debris hidden underneath (and the poles from what looks like an old tennis court), the pool is nice… when it’s open, we are at the end of June and it’s still being worked on, parking has been great.. because... people are moving out, they lowered the late fees, which is cool, but that’s because the rent is way over what this place is worth. I lived there for 6 months and I received orders to move to Texas so I had to cancel my contract. Lived in a 1 bedroom apt all I had was a bed, couch and TV. When I moved out I accidentally left the last trash bag I forgot to take out. When I got my last bill. I got billed for 8 hrs of cleaning. Plus an additional $70 for the stove an fridge, which I never used because I always ate take out or was at work. And was charged another $10 for the forgotten trash bag. I purposefully did not hang or... paint anything in the apt so that I could get my deposit back but they made sure to find a way to charge as much as they could for my last bill. Read More

Garden plaza is the place you move because you have no other options, not because you want to. Both ladies that work in the office are extremely rude, will ignore your concerns, and on several occasions have said they will put in work orders and never have (took over a month to get someone to even come look at our oven when it broke, almost 2 months before it was replaced for example). Pipes are constantly bursting, which has been a constant annoyance, now they're doing asphalt work and... neglected to give a lot of people the time sheets showing when work would be done, causing cars to be towed. Do you really wanna live somewhere you have to worry about your car being towed? I don't. Not to mention the actual apartments are disgusting, there's constantly bugs, and they're obviously outdated.
