I just moved in last month from out of state, I was worried that nothing was going to be ready like my previous apartment complex, but to my surprise, they were very organized. The property is older, and they should paint, but its walking distance to the University. The inside is actually nice because its upgraded so maybe that's why I really like it here. The A/C and heating work great. I haven't had any issues other than my garbage disposal got jammed, and it was fixed within 2 days, so that... was nice. The ladies in the office are super nice and my parents loved them. My Mom is very picky and she didn't want me to move in at first, but after seeing the upgraded unit and speaking with the staff she felt very comfortable with me moving in. I also made a friend! Its pretty much all students that live here or maybe in my building? But so far so good for the location you will not be disappointed.

Do not move here
Staff is unfriendly and rude. Building is broken down and so are the apartments. Place is filthy, there is no security (bikes are stolen constantly and many sit half broken tied to the bike racks), no security cameras, noise outside is unbearable. Place across the street (dirtbags) has loud obnoxious people out every night screaming at cars and god knows what else. Nothing ever gets fixed in a timely manner, and even when it's fixed it still works poorly (I would prefer hot water faster than 10... minutes after I start running water, but hey, they don't seem to care)

We are dismayed and surprised to see your experience in our community has not been more positive, particularly because we have no records of any noise complaints. We appreciate your feedback about our grounds. We’re always looking for ways to improve... and hope you’ll stop by to let us know if you have any suggestions about how we can do better in the future. Please stop by the leasing office at your earliest opportunity so we can discuss your concerns and work to resolve them.

Great for cheap college housing.
Rating: 3.4 I lived here for 2 years while at the U of A, and the best selling point was the location. Sure the place looks bad on the outside, but the apartments are decent (for a student in college who just moved out of the dorms) on the inside. There's a SunTran stop directly in front of the complex, and a Sunlink stop behind the complex. It's about a 12 minute walk to the Student Union.
Management has always been great while I've been here. Currently Kenny and Chris run the office. Kenny is... a kind, personable, guy who always seems happy to see you. Chris is an informative, nice, and helpful member as well. They even do cool events like snacks and energy drinks during finals and cool stuff like that.
Yes, the apartment has old appliances, yes you have to pay for the washers/dryers with quarters (and some of them remain broken), but if you're a student, I would highly suggest getting a 2br apt and splitting the rent with a roommate. The apt pays for water, trash, cable, internet, parking... all but electricity so it's definitely one of the best deals within walking distance of campus. Off topic- the water pressure in the shower is better than I could ask for.
One weird thing is that there aren't cable hookups in the rooms, so I had to buy like a 100 foot long cable to run from the living room to my tv in my room.
I REALLY despise roaches, so I must tell you I've seen a few while I was here. Most of them were dead. After some time, I noticed they were coming out of gap in the baseboard of the bathroom. During that summer, Raid was my best friend. The maintenance crew covered it up promptly, and since then I only see them every blue moon or dead outside. As of late, I feel that pest control has gotten much better.
I also feel I should mention that one time we left the window near the door open for several nights in a row, and one night while we slept, someone pushed the screen in and stole a few things. So better security would be appreciated here.. like cameras, because people really like to leave the gates open.
This place isn't perfect, but once you get all the cracks and holes sealed up, this apartment is comfortable, cheap, and in a prime location.
P.S. A few months ago I was watching the news, and there was mention of this place being torn down to build a high-rise, but it sounded more like a rumor, and no specifics were given.
P.S.S Get used to the food delivery people bringing your food to the neighboring Babcock dorm on accident.
