You need to live here

**EDIT: my husband and I are now entering our 7th year here. Yes it’s still gorgeous-I have never seen mountains so close-and staff is still communicative (if not more) and maintenance is remains great.
But none of that encompasses the kindness, generosity, and patience of the office staff: Monica Strozier Community Manager, Anaya Alvarez Assistant Manger, and Hadi Leasing Consultant.
My husband is ill and can no longer go up steps very easily. However we did not want to leave Pinnacle. They...
not only agreed to transferring us to a ground level but made the process seamless; all while holding my hand or sometimes a hug :)
I have known Monica since she helped us relocate here from Denver. She is always professional and knowledgeable while being affable and sweet.
We have had other office staff over the years but Anaya and Hadi are by far the best! I’ve never met such warm and caring people. Monica and Anaya have suffered through all the kinks of my applying with humor and persistence.
I lived in apartments my whole life but I’ve never met a team like this!

Beautiful, peaceful apartment complex. We've lived here almost 3 years now and have found staff to be friendly and responsive.
Staff maintains regular updates through emails so you always know what's going on in the community.
Maintenance works really hard, particularly Tristin A. who went out of his way to update us on an issue.

Great complex

We came by for a tour today and really liked the apartment and community. Cassandra was very friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. The setting is beautiful and the landscaping very pretty.

Not the best choice.

When I first moved to PH, MG Properties was managing the complex. Now, under Scotia Management, you will notice an extreme lack of customer service and care for tenants. The apartments themselves aren't worth the exorbitant rent they're charging. The apartments are poorly insulated and cost a fortune in AC/Heating bills. You can feel cold wind coming through the cracks in the winter and heat coming through the cracks in the summer. The appliances themselves are outdated and falling apart. The... water pressure is poor for how expensive our shared bills tend to be. The renovations that Scotia is boasting are nothing more than different linoleum and horizontal blinds.

The property itself lacks amenities. The workout room has a small assortment of outdated equipment, the pools aren't well-maintained, and the clubhouse offers very little. That's literally it - no game room, measly choice of DVD rentals, and tea during the hours the office is open. The office offers limited hours for those who work M-F.

Tenants are moving out in droves because of the hike in prices, the fact that we are unable to remain in our apartments (forcing us into the "renovated" ones), and the negligent customer service provided here. You'll notice new signs offering rewards to residents who refer new tenants because of how many empty apartments there are. The gym is almost always unoccupied because everyone is choosing (rightfully) to get more for their money. For the price that Scotia is asking, buy/rent a house. Your mortgage will be less expensive than renting an apartment here and you won't have to deal with the hassle of Scotia representatives.

Property Manager at Pinnacle Heights responded to this review

It is disheartening to hear that your experience has been less than positive. That said, we appreciate your feedback, as our team is always looking for opportunities to make our community an even better place to call home. The comfort of our... residents is our top priority, and should any issues arise, we strive to resolve them promptly and efficiently. We would like the chance to discuss your concerns in person, so please stop by our leasing office. Thank you.

Managmemt change

Scotia group management took over just before the election. They sent out an email telling us how to vote. They lost their very best rental agent. Also not renewing leases of tenants that have been here for years, jacking the rents hundreds of dollars a month. Not friendly. Their bottom line is profits. The do not care about their tenants. It was a wonderful place to live. Scotia group has made it an awful place to live.
