Beautiful Complex, not so much Management
Let me start off this review by saying this does not apply to the lease office. The lease office has been exceptional and Daniel deserves six stars.
Our issue begins with the building. After only 10 days in the building we reported multiple safety issues we had experienced . In addition to bringing those safety concerns items up to the office , our license plates were stolen from the buildings parking lot where our cars were suppose to be safe. We were told to make a police report but nothing... came out of that. After asking to move to a safer side of the building the management came back and told us we could only move if we paid a lease break penalty of one months rent. Keep in mind this is 10 days into our first month lease now. Security on this premises is a joke. I was told my only options were to pay to break my lease to move another unit or to pay the same penalty to vacate the premises and if I had already used the promotional free month, I would have to reimburse that as well. A third option was to stay in the unit for 6 months and ask for a transfer. You could only imagine after what we went through we weren’t thinking six months down the line. For this price point, you would expect more empathy from the building. I also would agree with another unit review posted that you move in to paint everywhere on the floors and a lot of rushed completion of work including splitting, baseboards, etc. If it didn’t cost so much to break my lease and leave, I would have done so. After asking multiple times the building settled on a half lease break penalty however I would have to place a full new deposit for the new unit and that would be due upon move-in as well as the first month rent for that unit totaling nearly $7000. All of this to vacate our unit that we had not even had the chance to unpack & looks untouched like the day we moved in. I hope this review reaches the right audience and you definitely do your due diligence prior to moving into this building.
