One of the worst place I have rented from
I have been a long time renter here in the Coachella Valley and by far these have been the worst apartments I have ever lived in. The pool has never been opened since I have been here (way before covid hit). One of the gates to enter the complex has never been fixed, because of that some people decided to easily walk into the premises and graffiti some buildings and pavement. And recently some tenants have been forced to rent out P.O boxes because the ones here inside the complex do not close.... Management cares very little if at all for the complex and it shows. If you can look for another place to move into.

Great place
This apartment complex is great overall, the manager is very professional. The area in general is amazing. Shopping nearby. The complex is quiet the residents keep to them selves. Best apartment I’ve live in by far!

We love it
By far this is the best place I’ve had my family stationed at! The manager is professional and does her job as she is supposed to, the complex is never too noisy. The apartments are spacious compared to most. The landscape gets done weekly! My kids love the space compared to any other. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel safe in their own space along with that feeling of ‘home’. I’ve wanted to live in the area for years and at first was skeptical of the apartment idea... because of previous experience, but once actually taking the step, I can say I love it! The beautiful view of the mountains along with shopping centers nearby, Nothing is too far to walk! Wake up in the morning and enjoy my coffee on my patio, something I didn’t get to do at other places. Another bonus is the laundry onsite and in the apartment! Overall this apartment complex is worth the move!

I LOVE IT HERE!
I love it here! In fact, I love it here so much that, after 8 years in one apartment, I'm beginning my 9th year in another one! Sure, it's an older property that doesn't have all the newest gadgets, cabinets, carpets, etc. But these apartments are roomier than most, and the layout of the rooms is well-thought out, the property lovely, the location ideal. However, what keeps me here most of all, more than anything else, is the deep sense of peace, and even solace, that abide here, beneath all the... bustle and sound of everyday apartment life. Older places have character to them, a soul, a sense of history, a vibe . . . and all of those qualities are positive ones here. The sun rests lovingly on this place, the creatures who dwell here and choose to return year after year, and the residents, as well. I adore the doves here - not just the indigenous mourning doves, but the pair of barbary doves, who must have belonged to a resident at one time, and either flew away or were allowed to go, and who now forage happily off the garden floor together, content to still be home. And, just so, Ocotillo Place has become home to me and my little Chihuahua companion. Oh, and yes, the new manager can be as tough as a pitbull when necessary, but only if you're not pulling your weight or following the rules as a tenant. Otherwise, if you bother getting to know Lori, spend a little time with her in the office, and you'll find she and co-mgr. Bill are good, caring people who are kind folks to have in your corner. For sure, no one can escape knowing what dog lovers they are, and how much they've done for our little community on their behalf! So, this would be my penny's worth of advice: find a reason to love being here, and you'll be happier for it! We think there's lots to love!

False advertising
Non of the amenities work. 3 spas only 1 is hot and the new management has added a new rule pool/spas can only be used Thursday-Friday and you and you'r guest will be harassed by "pool security"(1 elderly man). The stove, dishwasher and air conditioning unit are very old that makes the power bill VERY expensive. All the gates are unlocked random people walk in and out at all time and my car has been stolen from inside the property. There is no internet access besides your own so that is false... advertisement. New manager will use her retired private investigator husband as a scare tactic when you try to put your 30 day notice in.

I sorry that you feel that way.
But here are the facts.
I didn't change any rule when I got here.
I just enforced the rules that last prior management didn't inforce.
I Gave every a clean slat when I got here also.
As far as my husband he has no... power in the office. He maintenance/parking only at he time you where here.
I do all other duties.
Including Closing statements which you got a FULL refund from me.
We do not force anyone to stay if their not happy here.
When you gave your 30 day notice to me , I Accepted it. No Questions asked.
As far as the elderly Man, he did all that on his own with past management .
And was told he not to do it anymore when I got here.
I sincerely hope the place is a better one for you.
Best Regards,
Lori
