Jovanna Villa Apartments

I was going to wait to give a review once I possibly get approved 4/5 to move into this very quite and secure apartment complex but I had to do it now for one reason. (The property manager Sara!!!!!) I’ve been in the customer service sales space for 10 years and dealt with multiple apartment managers over the years . This process I’ve been going through with Sara the last two weeks that’s almost complete has been hands down the most professional,efficient, and genuine experience I’ve ever dealt... with. This manager goes the extra mile and as a business owner I understand how hard it is to find a manager/employee with passion and amazing work ethic like Sara. The owners of this complex need to give this lady a raise and never loose her. I saw the reviews about this complex and noticed the previous manager wasn’t the best but Sara has provided me and my family a customer service experience that I’ve never seen from a property manager. Let me start by saying we were living here for almost 2 and 1/2 years and it never got better.
Cons:
If Monica is still the current property management. I suggest that you have low expectations. I knew we should've opted out on the first day because Monica forgot about our Appt.We had to come back on a later date for a viewing. She rarely gets back to you, and when she does the response takes about 3 - 4 days if its on a monday and 4-6 days if you ask on a thursday. Repair calls took for ever,... unless it was emergency which rarely happens, takes almost a week to schedule, and when the super does come he was given the wrong info and didnt bring the correct parts or tools.

Although they eventually corrected this we were accused of sending a bounce check it took over 4 months to resolve this issue . In which again, Monica didnt respond. I ended up annoying Finances at their HQ to get this problem handled. I sent multiple emails until they finally responded. In my opinion this couldve been taken care of within 2- 4 weeks, but my bank and their bank wouldnt comminucate without the management participating which makes complete sense. Well this took almost 4 months to get resolved. A lot of misscommunication and poor management. You might say why did we stay for so long... well we thought it would get better, but it didnt in which we finally left after they raised the rent the third time.

Inside of the house is great. Renovated kitchen, clean carpets, water heater always hot, great neighbors and thick walls. Rarely any disturbance expect for the normal yeling fights

Do not move into this place. Lousy management. Increasing rent every 4 months.

Very quiet, clean and friendly. Small complex but very nice. They have gates and the owners are ver nice as well. When I first applied they understood my situation about my credit and they worked with mr. Maintenance service is fair but could be a little faster than it is now.
