This Casa Karmina second floor special owner’s unit sleeps up to ten. If you have a larger family group, please ask the owner about possible additional overflow space.
One of the few Venice Beach Houses right ON the sand, Casa Karmina is the perfect spot for your Venice Beach or Los Angeles escape! Maximize your enjoyment and stay right on the sand. Watch the ocean, surfers and sailboats from so many places in the house. Dine on your covered balcony/lanai or on the lower patio, right next to the sand.
Additional Information : There are numerous fun and easy activities just outside your garden gate. Take the short distance to exciting central Venice, Muscle Beach, street vendors, artisans and performers, or take the short ride to Santa Monica Pier and its ferris wheel/arcades. And be sure to enjoy historic Venice Pier: make it your morning or evening fun and even teach your children to fish just a short block from the house. You can also enjoy the Historic Venice Walk Streets and the Venice Canals (Venice was originally modeled after Venice, Italy) or move along the beach to the colorful 'Venice wall’ and the skate park or south to the Marina jetty and watch the boats come and go. And finally, enjoy the fine dining at the Pier House or Mercedes, your choice of three nearby Mexican restaurants, or simply Starbucks or the local coffee house/deli, 'The Cow's End', all just literally around the corner.
Amenities : Come in from the beach and use our hot/cold outdoor shower. We have lots of beach toys, 4 bikes, skim boards, a few boogie boards, surf boards, and rollerblades. In the winter months ride our sled/saucers down the nearby sand dunes (a favorite for the children!). You may even want to spend a night out on the covered lanai (so you can tell everyone you slept on the beach, under the stars)--there are NO mosquitoes here! All linens, as well as beach towels and blankets are provided.
