I had an extremely disappointing experience with the management of this apartment complex. Upon moving in, the unit was unclean, with numerous pending repairs despite prior assurances. The management team was unresponsive to work orders, leading to significant delays in addressing even basic issues. Furthermore, their AppFolio system is full of glitches—at one point, I had access to another tenant's lease, and it took them months to resolve the issue.
The worst part was the end of our lease. It... took over a month to receive our security deposit back, and they deducted charges for pre-existing damages that had not been fixed since move-in. There were no concrete bills or proper explanations provided for these deductions. The entire process felt deceptive and left us with a deep sense of frustration. I would strongly advise future tenants to avoid this property and any managed by CBG. The lack of transparency and respect for tenants is appalling, and it was one of the most stressful renting experiences I’ve ever had.
