So far my experience at The Current has been pretty good. The apartment finished and aesthetics of the building are gorgeous, but the building is not maintained as much as it could be. The community trash cans are often overflowing and the carpets are stained through the property. I guess this comes with the wear and tear of the place, so my rating is pretty average.

Fire alarm tests are very poorly timed and annoying, there was a 3-hour fire alarm test where the alarm would go off sporadically from 8:30am-11:30am on a Wednesday that we were given less than 24 hours notice to AND most of the residents didn't even get a warning because the email system is "opt-in". I still haven't figured out how to "opt-in". Overall though, amenities are kept relatively clean and the gym has nice equipment. Apartment maintenance can be unresponsive over weekends, but... generally works quickly considering how many units they have. Units don't feel cheap and the internet is fast. The Current is not a bad place to live, it could just use some management that cares about the people and less about the bottom line.

The staff are all super friendly and willing to help you with whatever needed. The amenities here are great especially with the gym and free coffee machine and printer 24/7! I wish the parking situation was better for its location and price, and it’s easy to hear through walls.

Very nice but expensive. Close to campus but there is no sidewalk to campus or stores within walking distance which makes it difficult to get around.

Love the amenities and great pricing! The room are spacious and homey. The study rooms and always clean and the gym is still looking brand new.
