Southgate Village Estates

Rent is great. There is no lease therefore a whole lot of turnover.

Decent price with a garage

Everything around here is overpriced. But 1350 will get you two bedrooms here with a small garage. Hard to find that in San Diego.
Lots of cars honk all night near the intersection with Palm Ave so try to live further up the complex it's quieter. Sirens from police cars and fire trucks daily. I've seen lots of people get arrested on the street. outside seems to be a cop trap area. Also at night it seems the street here is an illegal race track. Lots of Honda civics go by like 40 miles an...
hour but sound like they're doing 120.
Have a document shredder because many people go through the trash daily and nightly. Cars are relatively safe here haven't seen one broke into yet. Most thugs here are posers and only graffiti things. The residents seem to mainly families and are pretty quiet. Except for the punk kids that hang out on top the garages eating tacos. One of their punk legs busted through my garage ceiling.
Sometimes trash starts adding up here. Many people walk through and litter. I see kind residents picking thrash off the yards more than the people that work here.
All in all bad for the money but better than other local areas, and more storage. I wouldn't pay more for the redone condo type apartments here. They are the same with new cabinets but cost even more.
