Wouldn’t Recommend
I was one of the first tenants to live here and it was clearly that the property was not ready to be rented out yet. Problem list included:
- Rent is not as advertised due to extra miscellaneous fees that weren’t mentioned.
- Front door intercom not working. PARAMEDICS WERE UNABLE TO GET IN DURING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY!!
- Elevator broke down frequently (there’s only one). Fire alarm would go off at random times
- Security cameras in the parking garage are not hooked up. Parking garage gate... would frequently get stuck open
- Unsealed apartment front door & balcony door, leading to flooding during heavy rain & access for bugs to enter
- Bug problem (termites, cockroaches, worms, roly-poly). Notified management of termites on terrace & nothing was done.
- Rain water leaking into ceiling & light fixtures (issue for apartments on the fifth floor)
- Poor internet wiring leading to frequent outages every week (confirmed by Spectrum tech)
- Circuit breaker would short circuit if you use the microwave with anything plugged in the kitchen
- No shades/curtains in the bedroom (was not installed until months later)
- Dirty apartment upon move in, patched over holes from construction, exposed nails & holes in cabinets
- People let their dogs defecate in the elevator without picking it up, dogs would urinate in the hallways and front lobby
Management was notified of every single problem and they even admitted that the property was not ready for renters, but these are just “growing pains” as they figure out how to properly manage an apartment complex. Eric Matz from Moss & Company was rude and dismissive. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
