Poorly constructed property.
We moved in as one of the first tenants here, so this review will address our experience from then.
Initial issues:
- Lease incorrectly prepared.
- Holes in the walls, damaged appliances, and exposed nails from construction.
- No internet (bad wiring).
- No power on some circuits.
- Unsealed doors (have had flooding/bugs).
- No window shades...?
Ongoing issues during our tenancy:
- Elevator breakdowns (Complex has one).
- Malfunctioning Parking gate ( The building does not have functioning... security cameras, and the gate gets stuck from time to time which has caused us to miss work).
- Front door access (Intercom is unreliable, issues with medical access, guest access, and package deliveries).
- Mold.
- Unreliable internet (we've had a loss of service once about every 3 weeks. Issue with our floor specifically).
- Leaks in the unit (from doors and light fixtures).
- Water pressure is pretty low. I understand it may be for water-saving measures, but it annoyed us enough to mention.
Overall, living here has been a frustrating experience, and I would consider other options in the area before committing to this complex.
Agents/Management (except for Portia) have been abysmal with support.
Moss and Company is a property management group that I'd avoid. Thrive on Seventh is a new building that was rushed and poorly built, they admit it.
The best thing this property has going for it is its location. There's a lot nearby that is walkable, which is great.
