Awful Management
I have lived in The Shores for over one year and have decided not to renew my lease. I am a single father with 2 children and I have decided the two towers next to the beach is not a safe place to live. Please consider the following facts before visiting The Shores as a new place of residence.
There is no security at this location.
The pool is beautiful but it is a public pool . Since there is no security, often times the homeless people from Oceanview Park jump in the pool to bathe and... get cleaned up. They also use the restrooms that are open 24 hours as well. The homeless and other public people walk directly on the property in a number of ways..
Strong smell of cigarettes from people smoking on their balconies (many of the residents are elderly because of rent control) and a strong smell of weed too.
The park next door is filled with homeless people and most are mentally ill. You can hear them screaming at each other all night long and all the bottles rattling against each other as they collect these bottles for recycling. This happens all night long.
The optics of this place from a 30,000 view will look impressive. The real down to earth view will actually scare you and make you think about your safety. Folks, there are just too many other places to choose from. Trust me, don't choose to live here.
