Clean complex

I was skeptical about this place based off of the reviews but still proceeded to move in for the rent price and dog policy. However, I believe the rent price reflects the quality of the complex. I’ve seen them clean the BBQ’s that are apart of the communal property. They have plenty of parking and have yet to have an issue finding some. You’re even provided a covered spot. Most people clean up after their dogs and I see the maintenance/ gardening people every week. I have never once had my water... shut off or had a bad experience. The two ladies in the office are friendly and have helped me out in many ways even after the filing processes. In addition to that, the complex is gated which is a good feature for the price in my opinion. So far- I believe this place lives up to how it is advertised on their website.

Look elsewhere!!!!

I wish we would have waited and found a nicer place because this complex is quite run down. We rent a “junior” apartment which is very small (no door to the room). When we first moved in, we had issues with rain spilling onto our patio. This was fixed but it took a really long time and we constantly got soaked leaving our apartment because there was no way to avoid the waterfall onto our gate. Next, they constantly shut off our water with little notice. A few days ago, they shut off our water... all day and drilled next door until past 9pm. While there is AC, it’s a small unit in the living room which doesn’t reach the bedroom at all which kind of defeats the point. The price of rent is way too much for what we get. Would not recommend this place one bit.

Joseph's review

Apartment complex was better maintained under old management than new management. Rents continue to rise, but level of service stays the same. Water is constantly turned off for repairs, assumption is there really trying to save water.

Casa monterey review

This apartment is very clean, they fix things in a timely manner, the only issue I have is they are always shutting the water off, and the rent is too high. This is a good place to live.

Horrible

They shut off the water at least twice a week for "repairs". There is no playground. Kids screaming and running back and forth in front of apartments all afternoon. Rent keeps going up. They charge $40 pet rent for EACH pet and $500 deposit for EACH pet. Pets don't even use utilities. There's no rent for children. They use utilities, they cause more wear and tear on the apartment building and landscape. Why charge pet rent?
