DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!!!!!
I would have given 0 stars if allowed - The worst renters experience ever had! I hope that writing my experience will at least prevent one other person from getting completely screwed by this company. You know those places that people warn you about that will keep ALL of your deposit and charge you MORE... THIS IS IT! - Lived here for less than a year. No Pets, No Children, and only lived in apartment part time - Had walk through with the manager to see potential charges when moving out and... he said that he would give us an itemized sheet of expenses - NEVER delivered this sheet - NEVER contacted us after moving out.
A MONTH LATER: our account updated with random charges listed as "damages" and totaled MORE than the whole security deposit. I called the manager, JONATHAN, asking why we had received NO communication from them, what were the random charges and WHY we never received any of our deposit back and he said that he mailed us immediately after move out with an itemized list (that we were suppose to get BEFORE moving out) - And he had "no idea" what the random charges were and asked me to take a screenshot of the charges and email it to him.. this is where it gets good... he gave me a FAKE email! The email was sent right back to me, I called him back and he NEVER ANSWERED! A WEEK LATER:get a letter with an itemized receipt of all the charges, which included carpet replacement AND carpet shampooing service which totaled $1,000! How do you charge me for new carpets AND carpet shampooing service?? There were also"Misc items removal" fees and "damages" fees that were not explained in the itemized receipt. The best part of letter:
a.) it was mailed the day I talked to the manager Jonathan on the phone and he gave me the fake email and wouldn't return my calls.. I guess he was busy mailing me the paperwork that he was suppose to mail a MONTH prior.
b.) The letter said "this is our second attempt to collect payment from you and we have repeatedly tried to contact you at the numbers provided"
So:Jonathan the INCOMPETENT manager NEVER mailed us the letter with a list of charges until I finally got ahold of him on the phone where he gave me a fake email and then dodged my calls and the apartment complex charged us with as many things that they could so it would equal our security deposit so they wouldn't have to give us a penny back. I have NEVER had an experience like this and just want to warn you before you have to go through the same thing!
