Please Read Review in Full- DO NOT RENT
Hello reader!
If you are anything like me, you read the reviews before deciding if an apartment is of interest to you. I lived at the Vistas for 3 years. When CMS Multifamily (the current owners) bought out the building, the standard of living quickly declined. You will have to follow-up with maintenance several times before an issue is addressed, if it is ever addressed. There was a water leak in the apartment above mine which led to a giant bubble in the paint on my kitchen ceiling. This was... never fixed, nor were the broken blinds they told me would be replaced on a separate occasion. The pool has been out of commission since the beginning of Covid. If you tour during the day, it may seem secure. However, I would implore you to drive through it in the dead of night. You will see a homeless individual in the dumpster almost every night. I also had someone staring into my window directly outside of it which was reported to the police. The trunk of my car was broken into which was parked immediately in front of my apartment. When I directed the security concerns to CMS Multifamily, nothing was done in terms of adding security or cameras as requested. Which brings me to my final issue, the lack of ability to communicate with the owners: the reason I am writing this review. Upon move-out I have been foot with a bill because of an auto-generated fee. My messages, voicemails, and requests for callbacks with their leasing office are ignored. In conclusion, please do not rent from them. There are so many other lovely apartments in Colorado Springs to choose from. I hope this review has helped someone avoid a headache in the future. Thank you for reading!
