What are you paying for?
I just recently finished living there 5 years. They've gone through three management company changes during that time. Unfortunately the last one is probably the worst of the bunch. They were not super concerned when the heat went out in the middle of winter. They were not super concerned when there was no AC in the summer. They were not super concerned when the balcony turned into an ice rink because they refused to add a new drainage hole. They were not super concerned when the water backed up... into the house and all they did was cut a hole in the drywall. They're not very concerned about any upgrades or updates or painting the inside or painting the outside or having the pool open until after 6 p.m. or really doing anything. They are not concerned that you can't access the building if you are in a wheelchair. They are not concerned when they collect extra money when you have no choice to overpay your rent because they are not concerned to adjust the online portal. But apparently they're very concerned about charging a carpet cleaning fee in a house that is not remodeled and had somebody die in it. So was I charged a bogus fee and somebody's living in a house with old carpet that somebody died in, or was I charged a fee and they still replaced the carpet?
