pretty good
I’m about to finish out my lease here and I’d say it’s been pretty good.
Short version: Good units, amenities, and appliances, but poor reinforcement from management and loud outside noise but it is in the middle of the city.
The pros:
-Nice spacious layouts with great appliances and nest air conditioning units.
-Pasquale the maintenance guy is great as well.
-The walls are thick and I never hear the people next door.
- High tech entrance to the building and your unit, you can let people in... from your phone
- Close to great food and plenty to do
- Having an elevator is always great especially for moving, and they have hotel carts and a hand truck to help with that and big packages as well.
- Building and common areas are pretty well maintained and cleaned often.
Some of the cons I experienced were:
- If your unit is on the back side of the building (even numbered units) you can hear the highway pretty clearly and all the sirens. also the unit doors aren’t very sealed so you can hear every time there’s kids running down the hallway at unreasonable hours (a constant we’ve had despite the management sending emails about it).
- We had a constant issue with our upstairs neighbor being extremely heavy footed and what sounded like rolling things around super early in the morning and super late at night. We contacted management about it (with video because it was just so loud) and they said they contacted the people above us but nothing changed even after multiple times. We never confronted the neighbor because people can be crazy sometimes and we didn’t want it to worsen. On the same note we had random people (sometimes neighbors, not sure every time) knock on our door loudly and repeatedly for seemingly no reason.
- Most of the time USPS doesn’t even try to contact you to get you to sign for a package if it needs a signature and they don’t try to redeliver even if you sign the slip, you have to go pick it up.
- Renewal price was ridiculous and the reason we moved out. Then the rent they put our unit out for was $600 cheaper than what they were asking us to pay.
- Have to park in parking garage across the street for an extra $100 monthly or use the 8 public parallel parking that’s only free weekends and 6pm-8am and barely open.
