Wonderful place to live!

After living in a few high and mid rises around Connecticut and not being too satisfied, I was really happy to discover this place, which is both modern (new) and very well run. It is very well situated just off Main Street, with so many cafes and restaurants, and the parking garage is easy and connected to the building. Two elevators at either end of the building make it easy to get up and down, and each floor has a trash and recycling chute at one end. Very nice and well kept up common... spaces which attract some use, including a small gym, a large public kitchen and sitting area, and a great rooftop area- best place to watch sunrises over the river! Emily is the best manager I have ever worked with- so professional and pleasant. Two recommendations- get a street facing apartment and a top floor apartment if they are available.

Worth Every Penny! Great Apartment!

I was a resident in Midd-Town from January 2019 to August 2021. I had a wonderful time living at Midd-Town, before and during COVID time. I was very impressed with how clean and well-managed the apartment was during COVID. Hand sanitizer dispensers were installed in all public spaces very quickly at a time when they were not available at drug stores!

The location of the apartment is excellent. It is one block away to Main Street, within walking distance to Middlesex hospital (shuttle available...
for employees) and Wesleyan University. 5 minutes drive to nearby highway. Indoor parking spaces are available (no need to dig out your car in the snow).

The apartment was brand new when I moved in; therefore, there was really nothing to be fixed. In rare occasion when something minor was wrong, my maintenance request was always completed within 24 hours. There is plenty of space to entertain guests (a community room with a full kitchen is available to all resident; there is also a roof desk with excellent view/BBQ grills and extra BBQ grills on the first floor courtyard). Bike storage is available for free. If you need extra storage space, with a small fee, climate-controlled storage spaces are available in the same building with 24/7 access.

The apartment interior is classy with a lot of storage spaces, even in a studio (I had a studio). It's a very secured apartment with key fob entrance to all spaces. As an experienced renter who has lived in 5 different states and 10+ apartments, I would say that Midd-Town is the place I miss the most after I moved out. If you find yourself needing a home in Middletown, go pay Emily a visit. You won't regret it!

Great city living without the big city

For starters the fact the apartments are new is a huge plus, but that being said the quality of the apartments are very good, the appliances are the latest technology. Each apartment is outfitted with a front load washer and dryer, glass top range, etc. There is an onsite exercise facility for the residents, a community room for social events, which we’ve have had a few, the room is equipped with two spouts, one with cold beer, and the other with wine, the brand and type are rotated so it’s... never the same. Parking is not an issue because there is ample parking in the newly constructed parking garage, which tunnels in from the lower level into the apartment building. On the ground level is a BBQ picnic area located within the courtyard of the building for those warm summer days, also on the rooftop, is another BBQ area and a perfect location on the fourth of July to view Middletown’s fireworks. The staff are top notch, any maintenance issues that should arise are handled in a timely manner, Emily in the front office is quick to address any type of issue the resident may have, and she is also imaginative when it comes to ideas for different social type of events held for the residents. If you enjoy city life this is a great location, the building is just off Main St with its many restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
