Not a good place to live
First are the general complaints: the rooms look much nicer in the pictures than they do in reality. Living here is like living in a prison. The lighting is pretty bad and the walls and ceiling are basically just concrete. The garbage chute is clogged frequently and trash is just left on the floor of the garbage room. The elevators arent properly maintained. At any given time, at least one elevator is out of order. It is just not worth the price and I think the only reason they get away with it... is because students live here for a bit, realize it sucks, but graduate soon after.
Next, I had been trying to have some friends assigned to the same room as me for months. The communication has been bad and no one can give me a definite answer on it. I called over 10 times, emailed multiple people, and got told that I would get emails or calls back with information. I have received no information. When the roommate assignments came out, I had the wrong ones.
Last, the maintenance team was awful for months. I had a broken dishwasher for over two months. The maintenance people would repeatedly come to 'look' at it, do nothing, turn it on, and leave, saying they would come back later. They never did, unless I submitted a new maintenance request.
