Very nice floorplans don't rent on South side
We have lived here 5 years. When we first moved in, the buildings were very well maintained - the hallways were vacuumed and elevators were cleaned daily. The grounds were maintained by in-house porters who really cared and it looked so nice. (I would bet a million it cost less than it does now, too!) Now, everything looks old and dirty and there are usually people wandering around from the streets who shouldn't be here - or found sleeping in the halls or random storage units.
I am sure what... happened is that the place leased up and they decided that they don't care what the building looks like anymore, don't spend money anymore - (seems weird? why let your investment go down the drain??) anyway, it's super sad.
We really like the unit - the appliances are nice , the layout is nice - the maintenance staff is great.
But! The neighborhood isn't great. Do not rent on the South side, especially if you work from home, or evenings, and need to sleep after 7 am ... The neighboring property has garbage pickup 3 x per week on their driveway and it is loud enough to be heard through closed windows. There is constant yard maintenance -daily between properties for hours, so if you want to hear leaf blowers and shrub trimmers all day long, it's perfect.
Also, the management allows the residents to use table saws on the decks - not sure why.

We're disappointed to hear of the negative experience you had at our location. We do have a courtesy patrol officer that monitors the property and due to unfortunate times, the homeless population has become more of an issue in the area. If you have... concerns, please reach out to your local authorities. We maintain the common areas, elevators and hallways everyday, cleaning, vacuuming and wiping down any areas in need. Unfortunately, we can not control the neighboring communities and their vendor schedules. Our landscaping team is onsite after 8am to ensure our community looks fresh and remains clean 3x weekly. Please know that due to the situation with COVID, most of our residents are and have been working from home the last year. Any concerns with noise from a table saw has been and is being addressed as needed. We regret that you weren't satisfied with your experience. We hope you will give us another chance.
