Bad management
With Bryten Management taking over, we had hoped things would become better, however we are continuously more and more disappointed. The amenities were the most important thing for us, specifically the pool and hot tub as we have a kid, but the pool has been freezing all throughout autumn, winter and now into spring as they keep the temperature at the bare minimum. Everyone complains at the pool whenever we speak to them and kids leave the pool shivering. The hot tub on the other hand hasn't... been the working for around 2 months now and all management says is to "keep an eye out for updates".
In our 8 months of living here, we've also noticed that the finishes in the apartment are very cheap and overall badly constructed. The fake hardwood floors are starting to lift, the kitchen countertops don't have a finish so they stain very easily, the cabinet vinyl wrap is lifting and bubbling, residents misuse the outdoor garbage bins... I could go on.
I've brought up the issue of pool temperature and garbage bins multiple times to different staff, but it is either ignored or they never follow through with their promises.
The apartments have great potential and we have liked the location, however management needs to be better. They seem to only care about filling the apartments, and once you're in... you're history :)
