Not as great as it looks
I’ve lived at Mosaica for over a year, and I’m counting down the days until my lease ends. It’s baffling how they recently received five stars when more than half the residents have moved out. The floors are incredibly thin—you can hear everything, even on the third floor when people were walking on the first. There are no amenities, and they keep advertising a Phase Two that hasn’t even started.
They try to create a sense of community with events like potlucks or breakfast pickups, but it... feels forced and unappealing—especially when meals are prepared in empty apartments. Maintenance requests are rarely handled promptly, which is concerning given the low occupancy rate.
We’ve always been respectful tenants who keep things clean and follow the rules, yet on two occasions when we were out of town and had pet sitters, we were fined for pet waste, despite our sitters being responsible. It’s odd that these issues only arise when we notify management that someone else will be caring for our pets.
The apartments are small, particularly the kitchens, and noise from the nearby gas station is constant, especially truck horns in the middle of the night. Don’t be misled by the building’s new construction; the materials are cheap, and there have been instances of cars being broken into. Save your money and look elsewhere.
