When I downsized from my home to an apartment the management was so kind & professional.
I rented their small 1 bedroom with a little patio. I have been here going in 3 yrs & still love my little place. Their is lots of closet space, w/d connections off the kitchen, icemakers in the fridge, plenty of kitchen cabinets & the unit is well insulated for low utilities.
I hope to make this my forever little home.

- Lots of spiders and roaches. Pest control will come out as often as you request, but you can't request reccurring visits.
- AC went out twice in 18 months. Second time it went out, they attempted to repair the unit twice and when they finally replaced the unit (after third phone call), it still wouldn't work.
- Issues paying rent online. New management took over halfway through my stay and changed to a new website that only allowed you to pay with a check on certain days of the month.... Attempted to pay rent at front office and was told I would have to either mail the check or get a money order. Luckily when I tried to pay online a few days later it just so happened to be right time of the month so it went through. Didn't learn until I was moving out that the website was on said schedule.
- Only allowed to take a guest to pool on a day by day basis, which meant you had to go by the office while they were open to notify them who would be visiting. If a visitor was over on a Sunday, the pool was off limits because no one was in the office to give our guest a pass.
- Reminder notes wedged in your door at least once a week. Don't leave patio furniture outside, don't use illegal drugs, don't leave your car unlocked, the pool is open, we are having a breakfast, we are having ice cream, and a plethora of other redundant reminders. If you were out of town for any length of time, you'd come back to multiple letters on your door.
- Very friendly staff from before the takeover, but the policies in place by the leadership team were a bit silly and unnecessary, and at times a bit frustrating. Thank goodness for Jenn or I wouldn't have been able to deal with the front office.

Thank you for the kind words! We appreciate you and I'm happy you enjoyed your time at Jefferson Point. I would like to address the few complaints you did have.
First thing, I do apologize if you were given incorrect information on our policies or... procedures.
You can absolutely request recurring pest control if there is an issue. They may not like to treat every week since bugs can become less sensitive to the treatments.
AC issues do occur and I apologize that you had to go without. We never like when our residents are inconvenienced.
The transition was tough so THANK YOU for toughing out with us during that time. Y'all are troopers!
You are absolutely allowed pool guests any day of the week. We do allow 2 guests per lease signing resident. You do have to check out guest passes for your guests (it helps us cut down on non-residents/non-guests trying to use our facilities since they are unknown to our staff and residents). However, you can check them out for more than one day. I have signed them out for a week at a time for visiting guests.
Ahhhhhh the notices....I agree with you there, there are a lot of notices that go out. It is our number one way to communicate with our residents. We are trying to utilize a mass email or text system to stream line all those papers.
Can't say anything about the notices for resident activities like the Ice Cream Social, Fall Breakfast, or Patio Decorating Contests, we LOVE our residents and want y'all to have fun at our community events which means trying to get everyone involved.
I hope this clears up some of the confusion and I apologize again if you were not given the correct information at the time. I encourage all my residents to come and talk to me about their concerns or complaints so I can address them immediately. I appreciate your review and we will definitely take these complaints to heart and make sure our future and current residents are up to date on the current policies and procedures. Thank you again for being a valued resident at Jefferson Point.
