Lack of communication and unresponsive
I strongly advise against leasing with River Club (formerly Regency Club). My husband and I were tenants for 5 years, always paid rent on time, and were respectful and low-maintenance—even when we had to deal with a brown recluse spider infestation ourselves due to poor management response.
However, the move-out process was a nightmare. Despite being proactive and following instructions from the office, we were repeatedly given incorrect or contradictory information. Staff were confused,... unresponsive, and unprofessional throughout. Promises to follow up were consistently broken, and we were ultimately charged a $670 fee that no one could clearly explain, despite being told it might be waived due to their own errors.
After years of being reliable tenants, we were treated with indifference and a complete lack of accountability. The poor handling of our departure has completely overshadowed the positive experiences we once had. Until River Club improves how it communicates and manages leases, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
