Pool has been down for months and more
Our college student moved in a few weeks ago. We were excited! Pool has been down all summer, sign says shut down by county health department. Apartment was disgusting, last persons hair and grime all over the bathrooms, carpets weren’t clean. No dresser, took being ugly to get one. We tried to be nice initially, but you have to be determined to get what should be provided per lease. Common area walkways need pressure walking. Stinks like trash. Large dark dirty areas on walkway common areas to... apartments. There was trash piled up at entry door of our apartment when we got there. Old shoes and debris in balcony. We had to deep clean to move in. Elevator always on the fritz. Manager doesn’t take complaints serious. Not proactive. How long will tenants pay for a pool that hasn’t been open for months? How long will they tolerate a disgusting elevator? The only way I know to help them is a review everywhere we can until it changes. The website is lovely, gorgeous photos. They are not the reality. Make a visit and not just to the mock apartment set up they show you. Walk the floors of common areas, walkways, every floor and really see it. Change only happens with a voice, documentation, photos, videos. Here’s to helping those tenants get what they are paying for. What I’m paying for, as a parent. And safety, there are some concerns already. Doors being knocked on late at night, tampered door locks, and it’s not just for college students. Advertised as off campus housing for college students. Beware.
