Commons on Kinnear Apartamentos

I have consistently tried to give these apartments a chance. Maintenance has repeatedly come into my apartment while I am in the shower or in bed without identifying themselves. They also have allowed third party contracts to enter and remain in my apartment without identifying themselves while I have been in the shower. Maintenance requests don't get addressed unless you mention taking legal action after months without anything getting fixed. Maintenance is rude to the space of the residents... leaving behind trash and other personal items. Maintenance also frequently vocalizes that they are not consistently updating all units and at one point had a maintenance official in my apartment for over two hours to "install new smoke detectors". Their on staff security officer plays emergency vehicle sounds after midnight from his personal vehicle and is more intimidating than helpful. Third party contractors also have no respect for residents and placed a speaker outside my apartment door at a loud volume for numerous hours starting at 8am in the morning. When I tried to file a complaint about the speaker I first went down to the office and was told I couldn't file a complaint and to send an email which I received a blank email in response to. They don't care about resident safety or happiness and have done very little to fix the issues I have brought to them. The property manager consistently doesn't have time to speak to residents and is very difficult to get a hold of.

My daughter live here 2021-2022. Trash every where in halls and common areas. Apartment was FILTHY on move-in - had to clean ourselves for 8 hours - had to remove a hairball size of a small rodent from shower drain. She was locked out of apartment at 1 am twice by faulty keycard - no answer both times at 24 hour ALLEGED security number - had to sleep in car until am. Horrible management and no upkeep of facility. Asked for last month rent waiver due to all the issues - denied by management... - they obviously only want to get you in for a year and know you won’t renew so tough luck..

Complex is dirty and staff are so unorganized to the point where many units were not ready on move-in day.

Was nervous on my tour to see my first college place. Cory R did a great job helping me understand all about renting at the commons and in general. Very professional

We toured here with a Cory about looking for a new place for my daughter to move into for the her Junior and Senior year. We were surprised by the price and value of what they have to offer. Cory pointed out all the amenities such as the pool, weight room, barbecue, parking not to mention all the layouts of the rooms. He went above and beyond touring a few with us all showing us the differences. For the money and amenities this is well worth it compared for the same rate at other places we... have looked.
