3 Year Resident Review
So much to say. I have been here for 3 years. I love my apartment its very large with tons of natural light. I am lucky to have normal nice neighbors. But!
Pros
- Location
- Quiet unless you live near the highway which you can hear inside certain buildings
- Pool
-Safe aside from bike theft and rare car break ins
-Walkable to grocery store and gym
-Maintenance requests are met promptly
-Garages available, not necessarily near your apartment though
-Available parking, never an issue to be close... to the building
Cons
- I wouldnt call them luxury, I have seen the renovated ones too.
- Most apartments are very small, even the 2 bedrooms are small in my opinion
-Their "gym" is a large closet
- They charge for an amenity fob
-If an amenity is down/closed you dont get any refunds
- The pool was closed all spring for sudden repairs and almost all July
-I have had some really terrible service from the company, poor communication, rude over the years
-Difficult to call the office or get anyone on the phone
-No bike racks and they will never get them for you (my bike was stolen and they never got back to me. Their solution was buy a garage or haul it up 2 flights of stairs to my apartment)
-Dog park is disgusting and never maintained, also very small
-The grills hardly work at the pool typically only 1 out of 4 does
-IF YOU BREAK THE LEASE! - YOU ARE ON THE HOOK FOR THE APARTMENT UNTIL THEY FILL IT. This is contrary to other leases Ive ever signed.
-ROACH PROBLEM!!! I've tried everything, just found another huge one this morning!!
I know they are renovating the apartments and actually kicking people out, I'm telling you as a current resident those "new" apartments are NOT worth their asking price.
