1. Property managers lie to you about maintenance. Had mine repeatedly tell me my AC was fixed and it wasn't, tried to tell me the problem was normal (the AC taking 8 hours to go down 7 degrees) when it wasn't. I am no week 2 of this issue
2. They tack on a service 'fee' to your rent payments and give you NO option to avoid the fee.
3. Lots of noise living here--some sort of manufacturer and race track across the road and drag strip a bit further provide a LOT of noise on the evenings and... weekends. Highway noise the rest of the time.
4. Parking lot in poor shape, little effort made to pick up trash.
5. Managers only rarely answer the phone or are in the office. Lee mas

The problem is not the new management, it's the organization that controls them. Check the reviews on search engines, social media and job sites. Once you dig through the fake 5 star reviews AFI posts for themselves, you'll see the real reviews and find out how they really treat clients, tenants and employees. Its sad that the new crew didn't do their research before accepting the job. The biggest disappointment is that the owner is hiding behind an LLC in another state instead of coming by to... check on their $9M investment that AFI is running into the ground. Lee mas

New management is not good. Maintenance rude and take forever to fix something. Took 4 weeks to fix a leak behind the wall. Not very experienced I guess. Rent went up too much and some of the new crew are kind of sketchy acting. Won't be staying much longer like a lot of people around here.

I'm old and vet. Not too good with computer. New management not good. Rent is too high and went up again. I'm on limited budget and can't affrod to buy groceries now that rent gone up. New manger don't care. Can't pay rent in the office no more, have to figure out to do it on the computer or pay extra to pay it at a store or something. Either way I'm too old to figure out and got no money left over. Maintnace guys not too good at fixing, just good for being nosy and piling trash at the dumpsters... . Lee mas

My mom and me been through a lot I am disabled and in a wheelchair for distant walking and she has fought double lung cancer this last year. The Maintenance crew and Management have been there for us 110 percent. When she was at her worse they helped us when they didn't have to a really great bunch of people they truly stepped up, yes things could be better in some areas but that is in any place you are going to live even if you own your own home. They do the best they can with what they are... given and they all work there tails off so for me and my mom this is a great place to live and I give them all a ton of praise. Thank you Park Ridge Team for all you have done for us truly has been appreciated whether we come back or not just so you know.
