Unsafe and poorly maintained. Outlets damaged devices, the dryer vent hose was never installed creating a fire hazard, and there were holes around plumbing, cabinets, and windows. Even with weekly pest control, roaches constantly entered through these gaps, made worse by overflowing dumpsters. Despite all this, management charged massive lease break fees, required 60 days’ notice, and still withheld part of my deposit. Avoid this property.

What an absolute nightmare living at this place! I would give negative reviews if I could. We moved here in January and the place was dirty when we moved in and several things were broken. Their electrical outlet killed two of our appliances. Under my bathroom sink there was a cockroach trap glued to the wall to cover a hole! Shortly after living there we started seeing cockroaches, scorpions, and other bugs in our apartment daily. We had pest control come and spray our apartment weekly. The... cockroaches got worse and worse as the months went on. We even spoke with our upstairs neighbor who confessed they have had roaches in their apartment as well and had pest control spraying. By June we had an inspector come to the apartment who gave them a notice to fix all of the gaps in the walls and under the sinks in 30 days. We ended up breaking our lease in July after so much stress and aggravation. They charged us over $3,000 to break the lease and made us give a 2 month notice. We were not about to stay in an apartment with roaches so we signed a lease at a different apartment and had to pay for both apartments for 2 months. Such a nightmare!! I can’t stress more how completely disappointing this place is and the staff don’t care about the residents, only money.

Definitely consider a different apartment complex totally not worth the money here. Also they don’t tell you but when you are about to move out they say it’s mandatory to pay for a professional carpet cleaner and give them the recipe or you will be fined. They make it impossible to get back your whole security deposit at the end. Lee mas

Location is great but property management is not. Multiple maintenance requests that were not fixed. Mostly plumbing which comes directly out of my pocket for leaking faucets and showers. Late fees are astronomical and will not be waived under any circumstances. This company doesn’t care about its tenants they just want to fatten their own pockets. You’ll pay $40 a month for a carport but they will allow contractors to park in your spot.

This was my first apartment in Austin and it is amazing. Older building but they have done some slight remodeling. The UDR staff is amazing. Maintenance is always super quick to respond and they repair issues in a timely matter. Communication from the staff is great. Lots of parking for guest. Pretty quiet street! Overall great experience. Would highly recommend

I love this place. I moved here a little more than a year ago from the other side of the country and had very little time to find a new apartment. WOW am I lucky I found this gem. My apartment is absolutely beautiful. The entire development is well-kept and quiet (despite only being about 5-10 minutes from downtown - I can see it from my balcony). And the staff is exceptional. I've only ever had VERY minor issues w/my apartment, but no matter what it's been (e.g., once I couldn't get a window to... close), the gentleman in charge of maintenance, Jeff (or one of his colleagues), always shows up by the following morning to fix whatever needs help. Sidney, who works in the office, couldn't be nicer. Any time I've ever had any questions (and I've asked her A TON of dumb questions), she always has the answer (again, to be fair, they are REALLY dumb questions, but she's always very nice about not letting on when she answers). There’s also another woman (I don’t recall her name) who works there (I think maybe only on the weekends) and she is also steadfast in her professionalism (again, dumb questions). The development has a pool, a gym, and they even do monthly breakfasts. No matter what else I need - the grocery store, Target, a different gym, the mall, movie theater, whatever – it’s all within 10 minutes, but again, the development is secluded enough that you'd never know you were in a major metropolitan area from inside my apartment. I highly recommend checking this place out. I've lived in a number of different apartment buildings, and this is by far the best one. Lee mas
