Cottages at Bedford

Old apartments with lots of issues and bad onsite and corporate management. Lots of water leaks that cause damage they will try to charge you for. Some buildings have roach issues (building 9 and 13) building 13 also has bed bug issues. Building 4 had a lot of water leaks. Make sure to take lots of pictures if anything happens and get things in writing. Also, the good reviews of their amazing maintenance is all from desperation. They pressure you into writing something positive. I fell for it... myself because it’s awkward when the maintenance won’t leave until you do it in front of them. Lee mas

Moved out Jan 31, 2024. Was told that they would be keeping my deposit to replace carpet. After living there 4 years the carpet has be damaged by flooding from a slab leak in the bedroom that required them to rip up the carpet and jackhammer the bedroom floor. As well as other times from flooding in my building. I understood that they were older apartments and these things happen but I don’t think billing tenants for these things is right. I live there a total of 5 years in two units. I was... lucky enough to live in a buildings that didn’t have pest issues ( yes a lot of the buildings do have roaches and bedbugs) unfortunately one of my neighborhood friends lives in a unit with roaches and bedbugs. To anyone thinking about renting talk to some tenants, inspect your apartment before you move in and to anyone currently living there, get things in writing if anything happens or they will try to make you pay for their damages. A sido una experiencia muy agradable desde el principio la atención fue y a sido muy buena me ayudaron con mis dudas y con el proceso hubo mucha comprensión y realmente este trato que sigo recibiendo me parece súper bien estoy feliz con el apartamento y con todo en este lugar se que siguen mejorando y esto me anima a querer compartir con mis amistades a recomendar Cottages

If I could leave 0 I would, been here 3 years and these apartments are TRASH. Came into it with roaches, had to get rid of them myself. Management made the comment that “they wasn’t there at first” BUT moved me to another unit instantly. Apartment has flooded over 5 times and I haven’t been accommodated and can’t move without being charged a fee. Apartments have mold in them due to water damages. I have had rental insurance since I been here and I’m being charged a fee because my documents... wasn’t loaded once my policy was renewed so I have to pay the late fee but the extra charge will still apply. DO NOT MOVE HERE! They will get you out of your money for EVERY little thing they can. COOPERATE is the real problem. Lee mas
