Caution!
Just beginning my third year here. Too much going on to move during a pandemic, or we would. 3 managers in 2 years. It took 2 yrs to repair a window that leaked into the room in the rain. There is no "assigned" parking as advertised other than a small area and a dirt parking in the front of the complex for visitors. My 80 year old parents visited. We had to taxi them back and forth to their car. When I moved in the gym was supposedly being repaired and would be up and running any day. Two years... later, nothing. They advertise a fenced property but forget to mention the gate has not worked in at least 2 years. Never, ever worked since I have been here. The pool has been closed a solid year. They claim due to covid, yet pools all over this town, Austin and San Marcos have been open most of the year, granted some with restrictions, but at least they have been open. This includes the children's playground - locked up for a year now! Basically, I am paying for amenities that I do not have access to. Why not live in a house rather than an apartment if one is not receiving the amenities like pool, playground, safety gates, assured parking near your building? And don't expect corporate to ever return your call if it is regarding something management cannot handle. They are somewhere in Indiana. 4 attempted calls and not a peep. As someone who has been an Administrator of Assisted Living facilities, and responsible for property management - look elsewhere!
