Pick someplace else

Do not waste your money or time, I’ve lived her for almost a year this month and I regret it every day. Elevator is broken at minimum 4 times a month for extended periods of time, people get stuck in the elevator on a regular and the fire department has to come extract them. Management has no accountability or holding the elevator company they contracted to fix it properly. Call box has worked less than a month since moving in, so you have to go to the front to let your guests in or receive food... delivery. Forget about getting packages delivered if they can’t get in the building or the elevator is broken it will be returned to the carriers warehouse or returned to sender. Building is always dirty signs falling off the walls and brick exterior. Cleaning staff just sprays fabuloso on floors and in elevators and waits for it to dry. Maintenance doesn’t know how to fix things properly and they leave extra supplies or pieces for you in case the issue persists for you to fix it yourself. Several car break ins and no communication from the office on it or what they are doing to prevent it. Shattered glass in the parking from the busted windows stayed there for weeks until maintenance cleaned it up. Dogs use the bathroom wherever and owners don’t clean up after them (sidewalks parking lot stair wells move in loading room). I had a better experience living off newtown and baker rd so much for moving on up!!

Not with it

Current resident!
Been here almost a year, The elevators are always broken, the lounge/common areas in the buildings are always dirty. The call box to let in guest or deliveries has only worked 1 month since I've lived here. They do not accept packages in the office. So you'll have to go to the post office, UPS, Fedex or Amazon for anything that do not fit in the small mail box. If they can't access your building. The clubhouse has been under renovations since I moved here, so we have no access...
to it. The gym equipment is broken and outdated (all cardio machines are down). There has been recent car break-ins and they didn't notify the tenants. I think this its for now.

Floor plan is close but no cegar

Moving out of 401 is maybe the best move i have ever made. the floor plan isn't that off, but the maintenance here is extremely overbooked and overstressed to the point they cannot do their job properly. They put a left handle door on a right handle fridge. they put a broken banister back up and glued it together causing it to come out at the top of the stairs. they used duct tape to put the towel rack back up on the wall. The dryer filter was taped and stapled back together and when reported... they literally told us its low priority at this time. The dryer was smoking due to poor maintenance of its tubes and kept cutting off from engine overheat. They replaced it with one that looked like they got it from the dollar store. I wish i could attach pictures of this place to the review, but i cannot. However there is a silver lining. The front office people are extremely kind and remember my name when i pay my rent. :)

Ps: security was slacking so their solution to keep us from having random sleeping homeless in our foyer was to remove the door handle off the front door. now they come in through the back.

Not exactly what I expected

This apartment is modern and spacious like the other reviews say. But the people living here are actually very unfriendly and they give me the impression most of them don't want to be at the morgan. The common areas are always dirty (through no fault of the building, the residents just care that little and always leave their trash around in the elevator and on the floor). The dumpsters are constantly overflowing so there's always extra bags of garbage on the ground. It's also a little pricey... for me, it's over $1,500 for an apartment with basic utilities (no pets, covered parking, or garage- those are all extra). So don't let that initial rent number fool you, it costs significantly more to live with the essentials here. I signed a lease and part of me definitely regrets it. Think twice about moving here.

Almost Perfect

I really enjoy living at the Morgan. The apartments are very modern, with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances (including dishwasher and microwave). You also have a washer and dryer included in your unit. Nice sized patio/balcony with a storage closet. The bedrooms have very nice walk in closets and are nicely sized with good sized windows. The carpet is nice but a light color, so just keep that in mind. The bathrooms have amazing garden shower/tub combos and the double sinks on... the vanity is great. There's also a pool, fitness center, outdoor seating/grilling area, along with a clubhouse that is available to rent out at a very reasonable price. There is trash pick up 5 days a week, which is also very convenient. Location is great and even though you're near a busy street. you barely hear it.

The only downside is that the inside walls are thin. This will not be a problem if you have quieter neighbors but there are some that are so loud you can hear them over your television/out in the hallways.

Overall, this is a great place to live with many different apartment style choices. I'm glad I chose the Morgan.
