Do Not Move Here
I lived at Cedar Point from July 2021 to November 2022. The first apartment I was in was on the ground floor and flooded with backed up sewer water 3 different times. I was told that I "should expect flooding in a ground floor apartment." The second time it flooded, everything I owned was ruined and I had to move into a hotel for 10 days while they had someone rip up all the floors and replace them. During the time spent in the hotel, I still had to pay rent! I asked to be transferred to... another apartment and there was a 3rd flood on my moving day. They raised my rent for the 3rd floor apartment they moved me to because it was "market value" at the time, so my rent increased, and the 3rd floor apartment was so hot in the summertime that I continuously called maintenance, who told me to "expect it to be hot in a 3rd floor apartment." One of the maintenance guys finally told me the fans in the attic needed to be replaced but they weren't going to do it anytime soon. I also paid a $400 deposit fee when I moved in, and $20 extra a month for my 2 cats; however, when I moved out, they charged me $150 for pet damage, telling me the pet deposit and extra rent money had nothing to do with that. Finally, I got my final bill from them (not for rent, that was paid up), a couple of weeks ago. After 14 days, they had sent it to collections! This is the most expensive slum I've ever lived in. Do NOT recommend!
