A good cozy place to live near Seattle
I moved here sight unseen from across the country, and I had a lot of anxiety at first, until the apartment manager Branka's kind voice on the phone assured me that I'd found a gem. After a nerve-wracking move, everything here turned out to be perfect. I made the right choice.
Apartments here are laid out like motels, with a front and rear door. This allows for great ventilation, which is vital here in Washington for preventing mold. We're far enough away from the main city that the air smells... wonderful and clean, but near enough that there are barely any bugs.
The management is extremely nice and helpful (even with simple advice for nearby shopping) but stern in a way that reassures you that none of your neighbors are going to suddenly start becoming a problem. They actually have standards, and I really feel at home here.
Parking is decently ample, garbage pickup is frequent, and nearly everyone has cats or a dog. Maintenance is readily available (my cat got lost under the building my first day, and maintenance came in the middle of the night to unscrew the access panel and help get him out, then fix the hole in the cupboard-wall that a previous tenant had made). There may not be any amenities like a pool or gym, but the laundry room is great.
All in all, you couldn't ask for a nicer, friendlier, homier place west of SeaTac airport.
