Moved within a few months. Community only a few years old but it’s nasty. The gates are always open and trash left around the community. Just don’t have the best experience and would not recommend.

I like living here. Not too much drama and it feels safe for the most part. The mulch was just added and really restored the environment. It looks like they are maintaining the community well.

My Experience at Apex Apartments
So far, my experience at Apex has been wonderful! I absolutely love my apartment. Yes, I’ve had a couple of minor issues — like a sink that was stopped up when I moved in, a dead door battery, and being locked out — but the management was quick to respond and help resolve these problems. I truly appreciate how they handle situations when I raise concerns.
The apartment complex itself is beautiful, quiet, and spacious. The scenery is amazing, and it’s in a perfect... location — just four minutes from my job! Being a first-time apartment renter in this area, it’s been a great experience.
I also love the amenities, like having a space to wash my car, and the peace and quiet allows me to study and focus without distractions. Everyone I’ve met here has been friendly and helpful.
Overall, despite a few small hiccups, I’m enjoying my time here and would absolutely refer Apex Apartments to others. I would give my experience a 10/10 so far!

Love the community but do not like how the entrance gates remain open most of the weekend or how they break down. Do not like how people smoke in the apartments when it’s a none smoking community.

Regarding the entrance gates, there were unfortunately two recent incidents where reckless drivers... struck the gates, which required repairs. Those repairs have now been completed, and the gates are currently operating as expected.
As for smoking, you are correct — Apex Apopka is a non-smoking community. We do take this seriously and address violations when they are reported. However, identifying the specific source can be difficult without details. We encourage residents to report smoking with the date, time, and location whenever possible so our team can investigate and take appropriate action.

Move in was seamless and the staff was super attentive. The apartment was thoroughly cleaned! The grounds are well kept and it really feels like a luxury complex.
