Lakeside Central Apartments

I moved in a few days ago. The property management team was very professional and answered all of my questions. The entire property is very clean inside and outside. My apartment is very clean as well. I'm excited to start my new life here.

I have lived here for two years and rent has gone up 4 times more that 400 dollars a month. Air Conditioning unit has broken down 5 times while fitness center is closed periodically without any explanation. There is no drop box for rent to be paid so tenants are forced to pay online at an additional 50 dollars. Advertised prices are not accurate or correct. There are many hidden fees that are not advertised. Construction of units are cheap with thin walls and poor appliances. The refrigerator in... my unit the food and the ice maker never worked. I feel safe here. Maintenance is always quick and efficient. Love that apartments come with washer and dryer. Beautiful view and caring staff!

I have been here almost 9 months and I must say I am very impressed with the management and maintenance crew. The office is very attenuative to its residents and I have never once had a maintenance request go longer than 3 days for routine and usually same or next day for emergency work. Dog park, bb court, athletic facilities and lakeside (of course). Also quite a few of the apartments have been renovated and look great.

I moved into Lakeside Apartments about 7 months ago. I rate this place at a 3 because like most Apartments, there are the pros and the cons. To start on a positive note, the apartments are nice for the price. Very clean neighborhood style, friendly staff that are helpful and it feels like a "homey" type of place. They have a beautiful pool open at very convenient hours, as well as a pretty well equipped gym with 24 hour access. Neighbors are also very friendly and the amount of kids that live... here make it a very comfortable and safe environment. Now, all of this is great but every apartment has it downside. The apartments themselves are all white. Including carpets, walls, doors. This can be very inconvenient when it comes to keeping the house clean, especially the carpet. It rains a lot here which causes mud. White carpets and mud do not mix well. Second, there is no washer and dryer in the unit. They do provide them at a central location on the premises, but most of the time half of the machines are broken and don't get fixed in a timely manner. The pool is not always kept to its best condition as far as cleaning goes. For a 2/2 apartment I feel as though this place is a good starter apartment to get your feet wet, but definitely not somewhere I could see myself staying for more than a year, which is why I only gave it 3 stars.
