Infested with roaches!!!!
I moved to Rivertree apartments at the end of July 2021. The first day we were there we noticed roaches and notified property management immediately. We requested to have the apartment fumigated in August. It took Rivertree Apartments 9 months to finally accommodate our request and have the unit fumigated. Throughout the nine months of requesting proper treatment they did have exterminators come spray the apartment which did nothing because the infestation was so extensive. After fumigating, a... few weeks later the roaches came back because they only treated our, apartment instead of treating the entire building. It got to so bad that we had to break our lease because we were uncomfortable living in our own home. There were multiple times, including daytime hours, that we had roaches crawling on our dining room table while eating dinner and crawling across our lap while sitting on our couch. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! We were not the only ones experiencing this problem. Multiple other neighbors complained about their apartments being infested with roaches. A young mother that moved across from us had to break her lease shortly after moving in because her apartment was unlivable. We contacted the Board of Health and considered taking legal action because the issue was so bad but decided we did not want the headache and just wanted to leave. Now that we are gone we are still dealing with the after affects of living in an infested apartment. We've found roaches in our new home that came with us during the move. We've spend thousands of dollars breaking our lease, having to up and move unexpectedly, replace our furniture and treat our new home to prevent another infestation. On top of all this, we are still waiting on receiving our refund for the security deposit even though we moved out 3 months ago. Office staff does not return a phone call. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!
