The Park at Portofino Apartments

I’ve only been living here for two months and it has been hell ever since! Been dealing with roaches since moving. Pest control has came twice but that does nothing. Attempted to do my own extermination but nothing works. Currently now I’m dealing with a serious fly problem. Let me not get started on how I still have work orders from items that needed to be fixed since I moved in. Have called leasing office at least once a week this but nothing. The sense of urgency at this complex doesn’t exist... . I’m playing to live with roaches. Living in these conditions is not humane. I have bought up my concerns to the leasing off and all I’ve gotten so far is crickets. Pros: Top notch landscaping/scenery, very convenient location in a good area, staff are friendly and easy to work with and the application process is easy.

Cons: Overpriced, the gate is always open, the gym is lacking, the washers/dryers are a bit suspect, the breezeway in building 9 always floods when it rains, and sometimes work orders take forever to get completed.

I don't know how they have a 4 here it should be zero. This is the most horrible place to live . The worst experience that I ever had in my entire life. The apartments are full of roaches. If you get anything done it will be a miracle don't even bother reporting anything to maintenance trust me it will never happen and if they fix something it will be half done. I have months waiting for them to fix my apartment after they change the kitchen counter in the bathroom counter my kitchen sink still... leaking water and my bathroom sink the wall still messed up. I'm struggling with the roaches they come every other week to spray but this place it's infested with roaches. Some of the managers has been very rude and very unprofessional. This place by far is the worst I've ever been (and I been to pretty bad areas). I have been living there for the last 3 years and I've sounded my concern about certain issues such as: the AC is not functioning properly, crack in the wall behind the shower, and many other issues. The work orders will be opened for months with no response and then they end up closing them up with no fix. When the AC shat down completely, I opened up an emergency work order and the handyman stopped by, brought the... AC back to life and he even told us this unit needs to be replaced because it is too loud and is not working properly!!!!!

One time I opened up a ticket for the sink being stuck, and the garbage disposal not working. (I'm a computers guy, not a handy man by no means). Got no response; I then found one of the guys in a cart driving around, asked him when he would be able to stop by, he said he won't be able to and basically gave me some tools and told me what to do. Which I did and the issue was fixed, but that is it.

We did everything we can do, stop by the office multiple times, call, emails and honestly, reps have not been rude with us but the issue is, STILL nothing is fixed.

The trash situation is out of control; I feel bad for the people who end up cleaning it and honestly, I wouldn't say management is causing this, residents are the ones being filthy and inconsiderate. But, this could be happening due to residents coup for bad service and continues increase of rent.

I really cannot wait to get out of this place once my lease end and definitely do not recommend for no one to live there. Read More
