They pretend to keep things up for inspectors
Judging by living here now, and the past review on this site, the people running these apartments don't care about the rules unless they get money in return and they have never had the pool running. I have been living here for years now and have never seen the pool not empty and dirty. The gate has never been working even though they said that it was getting fixed. They pretended to get stuff in order when some people, I guess from the state, came by to check in on the apartments; and then... stopped fixing things once the inspectors left. it's stupid crazy how they don't spend their money on things to fix these apartments. the a/c doesn't even work correctly. you constantly smell weed and people are always smoking cigarettes on their balcony or on the stairs. people are always playing their music very loudly and bussin up the stairs late at night.

Sanctuary Walk Apartments Review
This is my overall view of Sanctuary Walk Apartments. I will explain the pros and cons of this community. I have been living here for three months. The apartment that I was placed in had a previous tenant that apparently didn't take care of the apartment. When I moved in, I was excited about the amenities that came with the apartment such as the built in microwave, ice maker, garbage disposal, diswasher, etc. The diswasher was grimy. I had to run an empty cycle to clean it. The garbage disposal... does not work at all. I told maintenance about it when I first moved in and he just recently informed me that they are still waiting on a part to fix it, the ice maker does not work because it's not hooked to the water line. I was excited to have an ice maker but I can't use it. I asked about that as well and it had not been fixed. The previous tenant left the kitchen drawers very dirty, I have to put cabinet liners in the drawers to cover up the badly stained drawers. The main bathroom looks as if it had been flooded because the sink vanity has water stains in the bottom near the floor. There are holes in the walls where you can see where the previous tenant apparently had pictures hung up and the maintenance was suppose to caulk it and repaint the walls but that never got done. My apartment is also right by the train tracks which my balcony faces. When I'm sitting outside with my infant daughter, I have to quickly run in the apartment and close the door when a train comes because she is scared of the loud noise. The pool was not accessible at all during the summer because there was no water in the pool. The security gates does not work. The neighborhood is not the safest side of town and the gates do not work. The large mailboxes are not accessible as well. Normally when you get a package via USPS, they will leave your large parcel in a separate large mail box so that you can get it. I asked USPS about utilizing the larger mailboxes and I was told that the residents break the keys off in the boxes so that's why they are not used. Instead packages are left in the leasing office. If packages are delivered on a Saturday since the leasing office is not open on weekends, your package gets returned to the post office which is inconvenient when you have to work. There is one trash compactor in the community and is often overfilled and overflowing and it stinks so bad every time I take my trash out. Based on this, this would not be a place I would not recommend.
