Fleas
Recently, my daughter and son-in-law moved in to the Oakleaf apartments and the experience has not been very favorable so far, although the apartments from appearance look nice, and or well-kept around the premises they are far from it. In a matter of just a couple of days the hot water tank stopped working, several lights were not working, the breaker in the bedroom was kicked, and the maintenance man said that he had melted the breaker, and all that was plugged up was a TV and a headboard... light, now that is not the worst of the problems, the biggest problem is that the apartment was infested with fleas. Management says this is not possible because the carpet is new. I did not realize that they had an Entomologist on staff. Owners need to take a look at current management staff. Tenants should not be treated this way.

We sincerely value input from our residents and strive to provide the best living experience possible. Management has personally spoken to your daughter several times and she is very happy with her new home. We can definitely discuss any further... questions or concerns with the residents in question though. As much as we would like to address your specific concerns, you are not a resident at this community. We must prioritize the privacy and confidentiality of our current and previous residents. We adhere to strict privacy policies and cannot discuss any individual residents with those not on the lease agreement. Please have the residents contact the Oakleaf Village office at 352-391-9861 and we will be more than happy to assist them further if needed.
