Worst Ever
Concord Rents is the worst. I was charged DOUBLE for September rent. I called the leasing agent numerous times but they aren't open on Monday to Wednesday at my complex. I left voice messages no response. I input the correct amount for the rent due but the computer system will not allow an amount less then rent due (even if the amount is incorrect). The ACH changed my input to the DOUBLE rent amount. I received an email with the receipt. I tried to cancel the input but there is no place to... cancel on the site. I was forced to call my bank and put a stop payment on the ACH. I went into the payment portal and paid the correct rental amount. Still no response from leasing agent. As a last resort, I contacted the main customer service number and they put in an alert to have the leasing agent call me. By the time the leasing agent contacted me the stop payment and repayment had already been activated. After all of this Concord Rent wants to charge me $85.00 b/c I stopped payment on THEIR error of a double rent charge. I ALWAYS pay my rent on time and in full. I have NEVER had a late payment. I contacted the leasing agent who said she would send in a request but it may NOT be approved. This is crazy! Concord error, Concord slow response (I had to hunt them down to get a response) and they want to charge me for their error and rather than saying 'Oh, I am so sorry this happened to you. I will do everything possible to rectify this error & make sure it NEVER happens again. We appreciate that we have NEVER had problems with your rent and will see to this matter immediately." Instead, I get: "I will send in a request and we will see what happens, if it is approved or not." Worst customer service EVER!! Stay away from Concord.
